Why role-play travel situations
Travel English is a small set of situations repeated in every country. Rehearse each one a few times and you stop translating in your head at the counter.
The tutor plays the other person — the agent, the receptionist, the waiter — and reacts naturally to what you say, so you practise listening and answering, not memorising phrases.
Travel English happens out loud, at a counter, with someone waiting. Rehearse those moments in a voice call so that the words come out by themselves when you need them.
Situations you will role-play
- Airport check-in, security and boarding questions
- Hotel reception: booking, problems, checking out
- Asking for and understanding directions
- Ordering food, paying and polite complaints
