Job interview practice

Practice Job Interview English Until Your Answers Feel Natural

One realistic question at a time, short feedback, and corrections on the phrases interviewers notice most.

Why rehearse with an AI interviewer

Interview nerves come from surprise. When you have already answered “tell me about yourself”, “describe a challenge” and “why this role” a dozen times in English, the real interview becomes a conversation you have had before.

The tutor plays a friendly interviewer, asks follow-up questions like a real one, and points out tense and word-choice mistakes that make answers sound less confident.

Interviews are spoken, so practise them out loud. Start a voice call in the Job interview mode and answer as you would in the room. Afterwards, review every correction from the call and repeat the answers that felt weak.

Questions you will rehearse

  • Tell me about yourself and your background
  • Strengths, weaknesses and a challenge you handled
  • Why this company and why this role
  • Salary, notice period and questions to ask the interviewer

A mock interview turn

Intermediate level, balanced corrections.

Welcome! Let's do a practice interview. To start, could you tell me a little about yourself?
I am study accounting and I finish my degree last year.
“I am study” → “I studied”; “I finish” → “I finished” — past tense for last year.
Congratulations on finishing your degree. What kind of role are you looking for now?
A junior accountant position in a bank, because I like working with numbers.
Banks value accuracy. Can you tell me about a time you had to be very careful with details?
During my internship I found an error in a report before it went to the manager.

Interview practice — questions

Are the questions realistic?

Yes. The interviewer mode follows the structure real interviewers use: background, motivation, competencies, then your questions.

Can I practise for a specific job?

Tell the tutor the role and company at the start; it adapts its questions and vocabulary to that context.

Will it correct my pronunciation?

Not yet. In a voice call the tutor understands what you say and corrects grammar and word choice, and you hear natural pronunciation in every reply. It does not score your pronunciation today.
