Meet your tutor
The tutor keeps the conversation going, adapts to your level and keeps everything private.
Your tutor answers what you say first, then corrects only what matters. No red pen on every sentence.
From beginner to advanced, vocabulary, sentence length and speed follow your level and your goal.
Conversations live only in your account. Delete any of them, or your account, whenever you like.
Inside the app
Speaking, words and review work together, so what you learn in one place comes back in the next.
Speak and hear your tutor answer out loud, in a US or UK accent. Interrupt whenever you like, just as you would with a person.
Every word comes with a picture, its Bangla meaning, pronunciation and an example sentence you can listen to.
Short dialogues that use your new words in real situations. Tap a line to see it in Bangla, then answer three quick questions.
Spaced repetition brings each word back just before you would forget it, with picture and fill-the-gap quizzes.
The app finds the slips you repeat most and turns them into short drills. Watch each pattern move towards mastered.
Choose the days and times for speaking and for words. Snooze once, and get no reminder on a day you already practised.
Practice modes
Pick a mode and the tutor opens the conversation like this.
Talk about anything you like; the tutor follows your interests.
“Hi! I'm your EnglishMate tutor. What would you like to talk about today?”
Routines, weather, family, plans and small talk.
“Hello! Let's practise some everyday English. How has your day been so far?”
One realistic interview question at a time, with short feedback.
“Welcome! Let's do a practice interview. To start, could you tell me a little about yourself?”
Meetings, updates, asking for help, polite disagreement.
“Hi! Let's practise workplace English. Imagine we're colleagues — what are you working on this week?”
Airport check-in, hotel reception, directions, tickets.
“Welcome! Let's practise travel English. You've just arrived at a hotel — how can I help you today?”
Prices, sizes, polite bargaining, returns and refunds.
“Hello, welcome to the store! What are you looking for today?”
Greeting, ordering, asking about dishes, paying.
“Good evening and welcome! Here's the menu. Would you like to start with a drink?”
Introduce a topic, explain key points, handle questions.
“Let's practise presenting! What topic would you like to present today? Start with a one-sentence introduction.”
Part 1 personal questions, Part 2 cue card, Part 3 discussion.
“Good morning. This is the speaking test. Let's begin with Part 1 — can you tell me about where you live?”
Your target words woven into a natural conversation.
“Let's practise your new words in a real conversation! Ready? Tell me about your day, and try to use one of your words.”
Natural talk that makes you use a range of tenses, with clearer corrections.
“Let's practise grammar through conversation. First, tell me three things you did yesterday.”
How one turn works
Every exchange takes seconds and leaves you with one thing to remember.
In English, at your own pace. Mistakes are welcome — they are the point.
A natural reply that keeps the conversation moving and ends with a question.
Only when it matters: what you said, the better version, and one line on why.
Tap the chip to pre-fill the corrected sentence and use it right away.
Gentle corrections
Choose how much correction you want. The tutor always answers naturally first.
You said
Yesterday I go to market and buy many vegetable.
The tutor replied
Nice! You went to the market yesterday and bought many vegetables. What did you cook?
“I go market” → “I went to the market”
Use the past tense (went, bought) because it happened yesterday, and say “the market”.
Minimal only rephrases naturally. Balanced adds one clear correction when it matters. Strict corrects every significant mistake.
